Diagnostics & Genetic Testing Fees & Charges

Virtus Diagnostics Pathology is your Medical Clinician’s preferred choice of Pathology and Specialist Genetics Laboratory.

At the time of your pathology collection it will be explained to you what tests your clinician has requested and give you an approximate cost.

Whilst some tests are covered by Medicare you will be asked to complete a form acknowledging that you have agreed to pay for all tests that are NOT covered by Medicare.

You will receive an SMS with details on how to pay.

If you do not hold an Australian Medicare Card you will be invoiced fully for all tests that are requested.

Virtus Diagnostics Pathology forward some tests to external providers because of the highly specialised nature of the analysis.  We do provide an estimate of fees and charges for these tests, however it is important to note that you will be invoiced directly from the external provider.

PROMPT PAYMENT IS APPRECIATED PRIOR TO YOUR RESULTS BEING MADE AVAILABLE TO YOUR REFERRING CLIINICIAN.
